Ryan and Christi Shields are the founders of Sawyer and Sons. Through the course of the adoptions of their 3 sons, they experienced first hand the financial burden adoption can bring. So out of a great desire to bring as many children home in to gospel loving families, Sawyer and Sons was born.
Ryan and Christi Shields got married in 2010 and began their adoption journey together in 2013. But the desire to adopt began in Christi as a young girl. Many years later God would grant that desire in the birth of their twin boys, Henry and Sawyer. God saw fit to bring Sawyer home when he was just shy of two days old. Later they went on to adopt their son, Jack.
It was out of a love for adoption, a desire to honor the life of their son Sawyer, and seeing the desperate need of financial assistance many couples face when adopting, that Sawyer and Sons came to be.
Craig and Jadhken Blunt are the sponsors of “Sawyer and Sons,” Together, they have a profound commitment to serving the vulnerable, they believe that every child desperately needs a home that displays the love of Christ.
The Blunt’s operate a successful moving company, “MoveBright Moving & Storage,” and they have made it their mission to channel a portion of their profits into their non-profit work. They view this endeavor as a way to transform their temporal, earthly business success into eternal, everlasting rewards from God by focusing on connecting orphans with godly families. Through “Sawyer and Sons,” Craig and Jadhken aim to bridge the gap between financial resources and the heartfelt mission of adoption, providing support for both families looking to adopt and children in need of a loving and stable family. Their faith-driven approach inspires others to participate in this noble cause, fostering a community where every child can experience the joy and warmth of a family.
Our board members work to provide oversight to Sawyer and Sons through the stewardship of our financial resources and by selecting applicants for grant approval.
Our heart for adoption is rooted in our desire for all people to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; and to experience their own adoption into the family of God.
